About Kevin Cronin
Founder of Brave Space
Kevin Cronin has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to cultivating brave and transformative environments throughout his tenure as a consultant, educator, multi-disciplinary creative artist, and change agent. Through the transformative power of play, Kevin is committed to empowering all individuals and organizations with the transferable, 21st-century skills necessary to shape, lead, and flourish in our constantly changing, pluralistic world.
He has achieved an M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Bay Path University along with an M.A. in Shakespeare and Education from the University of Birmingham, UK in partnership with The Shakespeare Institute. He has also earned a certificate in Musical Theatre Performance from Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City and a B.A. in Theatre Education from Emerson College.
His work in both the rehearsal room and classroom is the genesis for creating brave spaces, a courageous learning environment in which you can feel confident that you will not be exposed to discrimination, criticism, harassment, or any other emotional or physical harm. “Safe” has become synonymous with “comfortable,” and while you may at times feel uncomfortable as your beliefs, perspective, and identity evolve, you will always be safe to express and explore them.
As a theatre educator, he believes that the goal of the arts is to not only intensify our life experiences but also to give us the tools required to thrive personally and professionally. In helping individuals and organizations to become economically and emotionally successful, the arts ultimately enhance our existence by granting us more compassion, more perspective, more gentleness, more good, and in short, more life.
